How to honor a loved one in your life
SoulCollage® Community Cards: working with the people and places that matter
Seena Frost, the founder of SoulCollage®, described several groups into which you can categorize your cards or from which you can create a card. One of these groups is the community or Community Suit. This group is about people, animals, and places that are important to you in your life. This can include family members, friends, teachers, pets, or places that hold special meaning in your life.
Creating cards from connection
Typically, you create these cards with a clear intention, using photos of the beloved person in question or images that represent the energy of that person, animal, or place. So, you don't necessarily have to use an actual photo; the goal is for the card to capture the essence.
For many, creating community cards is a special process. It requires attention: collecting photos, choosing images, and feeling what wants to emerge on the card.
You can even choose to make multiple cards about one person. After all, people consist of different facets and roles, and each card can highlight a different aspect.
When a card is shared
Sometimes, a beautiful moment arises when you share a card with the person about whom you created it. This can be connecting and make someone feel touched by what you have captured.
You can also choose to share a part of the "I am the one who..." process, but only if it feels right for both of you.
You read a community card just like any other SoulCollage® card: by empathizing with the card's voice and listening to what it wants to say.
Another dimension in your SoulCollage process
If you haven't yet created a community card, this can be a wonderful next step. These cards bring another dimension to your SoulCollage process, as they are about your connection to the world around you, rather than solely about your inner parts.
