SoulCollage® Examples and Inspiration
Sometimes it helps to just see what's possible. In this article, you'll find various SoulCollage® examples that give you an idea of what cards can look like and how diverse they can be.
Every card is, of course, personal. Still, it can be inspiring to see how others combine images, use space, and construct their cards. Not to copy it, but to feel what resonates with you.
Use these examples as inspiration for your own cards. Perhaps you'll see something that touches you, or you'll get an idea for your first card.
The examples you see here are made with images that can be used royalty-free.
| A SoulCollage card doesn't have to be complicated: 'Less is more' is a good starting point. Here I used three elements that I intuitively chose: An image of a person, a beautiful background that appealed to me, and a bridge. |

Sometimes a card is created precisely by not working too precisely. An edge that isn't perfectly straight can be just right. But you can also work consciously and neatly if that feels better, for example with a passepartout / frame. Both are good; it's about what feels right for your card. |

In SoulCollage®, you don't place text or words on your cards. This is a deliberate choice. Words quickly steer towards meaning and explanation, whereas in SoulCollage®, it's about experiencing what an image evokes in you. When you add words, you quickly start to explain or define what something “is.” This can limit the process. Images are more open. They allow for multiple layers and can reveal something different at various times. By keeping your card visual, there remains room for discovery. The meaning only emerges when you work with the card, for instance, through the “I am the one who…” reading process. This often makes it richer and less fixed than when you define it in words beforehand. |

This card, for me, belongs to the companion group within SoulCollage®. These are cards that connect you with your instinct and a deeper layer of feeling. I chose the image of this animal without knowing exactly why. While making it, I noticed that it touched something within me, something of alertness and trusting my feelings. |

For me, this card belongs to the Council suit in SoulCollage®. These are cards that often reveal something larger than just my personal story. They touch upon archetypes, such as the mother or the protector. |

This is one of my first SoulCollage® cards. I simply chose images that appealed to me and pasted them together. My reading process revealed things like a focus on lightness, movement, and freedom. At that moment, I mostly felt it, without being able to explain it. That's often how it starts. You don't have to understand it to begin. It's through the making that you discover what lives within you. If you want to experience this yourself, the free mini-workshop SoulCollage® is a great first step. There you will make your first card step-by-step and discover how it works for you. And if you want to make it easy for yourself, you can start with a SoulCollage® starter kit. Then you'll have all the materials together and can immediately start your first card. |

Working with ancestors in your SoulCollage® cards is a wonderful way to connect with where you come from. Often, you work not only with photos, but precisely with images that embody that energy. You combine your ancestors with symbolic images, as I have used in this card. For me, it evoked something about time, origin, and connection. |

Sometimes you want to work with a specific Power Animal that perfectly fits what's going on within you. It can then be helpful to use images that truly resonate with you. That's why you can also opt for Images on request. This way, you can work with precisely those images that align with your theme, feeling, or process. |
Perhaps in these examples, you've seen something that touched you. An image, a composition, or simply the feeling that this could be for you too. That's often how SoulCollage® begins.
Be inspired, but keep it close to yourself. Your cards don't have to look like these examples. It's about what wants to become visible for you.
